We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Alpha Decks! We live out in Chesapeake, and after getting a few estimates from other contractors in the Tidewater area, it was clear Bobby and his team were on a different level. From the very first consultation, they were open to all of our ideas, walked us through different composite material options, railing styles, and color combinations, and never once made us feel rushed or pressured.

They ended up building us a beautiful composite deck that completely transformed our backyard. The craftsmanship is top-notch — clean lines, solid framing, and the materials they recommended are both durable and low-maintenance, which was really important to us with the coastal Virginia weather. The crew was professional, friendly, and respectful of our property the entire time. It’s rare to find a company that delivers this level of quality while also making the whole process smooth and stress-free. If you’re anywhere near Virginia Beach, Norfolk, or Chesapeake and thinking about upgrading your outdoor space, Alpha Decks is absolutely the team to call.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Alpha Decks to completely transform our backyard, and I can’t recommend them highly enough!
They removed our old, worn-out deck and built us a stunning screened porch in just 13 days—an impressively fast timeline without ever sacrificing quality. The entire structure is made with beautiful, low-maintenance composite materials, and they incorporated every detail we dreamed of: a gas fireplace with a gorgeous mantle trimmed in stone venier, a dedicated entertainment wall perfectly sized for our 55” TV, a doggie door so we don’t have to open the door for the pups, and thoughtful design that makes the space feel like an extension of our home.
What truly set Alpha Decks apart was their owner, Bobby. He is fantastic—professional, communicative, and genuinely committed to making sure everything was exactly right. Bobby delivered on every single promise he made from day one. If I sent a text with a question or concern, he almost always responded within minutes. When decisions needed to be made or options needed to be reviewed, he’d often FaceTime us right from the job site so we could see things in real time and pick exactly what we wanted. That level of responsiveness and personal attention is rare and made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable.
Alpha Decks not only met our expectations—they exceeded them in every way. The craftsmanship is top-notch, the project stayed on schedule, and the final result is a beautiful, functional outdoor living space we’re already enjoying every day.
If you’re considering a deck, screened porch, or outdoor project, do yourself a favor and call Alpha Decks. You won’t find a more reliable, talented, and customer-focused team. Thank you, Bobby and the entire Alpha Decks crew—you made our vision a reality! 🌟

We decided to replace an aging deck. Alpha Deck representative Mr. Bobby Ford was among 5 contractors that visited our home and prepared proposals. Mr. Ford was very experienced and detail oriented. He provided a thorough, complete, professional project proposal. He shared numerous high quality photographs of similar deck projects that Alpha Deck had completed. He proposed a detailed and competitive price for our project. The pricing was mid level among the proposals but his was by far the best prepared proposal. Mr. Ford went out of his way to provide a path to zero percent financing when an initial financing plan fell through. Once financing was secured and an agreement was signed, materials were ordered and arrived on site in 2 days. A work crew arrived the following morning, demolished and removed the existing deck and constructed a floating framework foundation in advance of the foundation inspection. All work from start to finish was completed in 3 full project work days. All required inspections were coordinated and successfully completed with minimal delay to the construction activities. Alpha Deck built a beautiful 330 square foot composite deck over the previous deck footprint. I cannot thank Mr. Ford and Alpha Deck enough for performing such a flawless construction project resulting in a dream deck for my Family to enjoy for the next 25 years. This was absolutely the BEST contractor project I have ever experienced. Bobby Ford is the man you want to work with. He does what he says he will do and delivers results exceeding your highest expectations. 5 Stars are not enough. Thank You Bobby!

It was great working with Alpha Decks—their customer service is outstanding, they’re friendly, and their pricing is affordable. Working in retail, I know how rare it is to find both excellent customer service and quality workmanship, and Alpha Decks delivers both. Their work truly speaks for itself, and I couldn’t be more pleased
